Remarks from Guests

Mayor Hill told her the Village is aware and will be repairing it and performing other maintenance repairs and upkeep. She stated that anyone can volunteer to help clean up and do things in the parks and there are numerous people who need to do community service which will also help with the clean up. Laura asked who to contact about some ideas of things to do around town. The Mayor stated that you can always contact her or one of the commissioners about those ideas.

Unfinished Business
Mayor Hill reported that she wanted to assess the ordinance amending the zoning code about the portable building on vacant lots. Commissioner Kendell said she wasn’t sure how she felt about that yet. Mayor Hill told her she would still have time to decide since the council would have final approval after the public hearing and any recommendations by the zoning board. Mayor Hill reported that each storage unit would have to be approved individually. Mayor Hill reported the Zoning Board will be holding a hearing on June 9th at 6:00 pm here at the RCC to discuss amending the ordinance.
