Reports of Village Officials
Mayor Hill reported the Girl Scouts are having their cookie sales December 14th through January 28th. They’ll also be selling door to door and sell them at stands February 24th through March 19th. Mayor Hill requested to please support our local Girl Scouts.

Mayor Hill reported that the “Helping Others Holiday Gifting” was utilized by a few community members. It will now be available year-round for anyone who would like to help a community member by paying towards their utility bill. It can be recognized or unanimous. Contact the Village Hall office with any questions you may have.
Chriest reported that there will be some changes with the Villages Electronic-Waste collection. It’s been difficult to collect and discard when the e-waste has been dropped off year-round to the trailers located behind the RCC building. Chriest advised after speaking with Brian Strike, the Superintendent of Prophetstown, there will now be two tentative drop off dates for e-waste. Those dates will align with Prophetstown since they are the central hub and help the Village with disposing. Those dates are currently set for Saturday April 22nd and Saturday September 23rd with times of 9AM to 12PM and the drop off site will be at the Village’s Garage located at 103 E. Fourth street. Any questions please contact the Village Hall office.
